MadChef aims to simplify and streamline your entire order management process—from receiving an order, all the way to getting paid. It is an innovative solution, developed with the restaurant business in mind. In short, MadChef is a powerful cloud-based application for food suppliers, distributors, and restaurants.
Being in the restaurant business ourselves, we know how archaic some of the systems and methods are, especially when it comes to ordering what we need for the next day. The process is overly familiar to most of us and looks something like this:
- Calling in late-night orders and leaving voicemails with the bustling sound of a busy kitchen in the background.
- Having very little certainty if the order went through since no confirmation email was sent.
- Pestering our salesperson to see if they know where our delivery is—as if they have a crystal ball.
- Putting those checks in the mail after manually reconciling
every single invoice and credit, like we have nothing better to do…
We figured there had to be a better way. So, what about ordering straight from our iPhones or iPads, just like we do with everything else these days? The truth is, smaller- and medium-sized food suppliers simply cannot afford the expense associated with a high-end, custom-built system. It would be nice to have, sure, but too costly to realize! And the return on investment simply wouldn’t be there.
